Amer Halasa is a Jordanian filmmaker. With a passion for film arts, he's a self-taught creative mind. Halasa kickstarted his professional career in 2010 and has been working as a film/video editor, director and producer on projects for film, TV and the web. He has two short screenplays under his belt, including his debut short film “Marimba”, which was nominated to participate in a film competition in 2014 as part of the Franco Arab Film Festival. He also co-produced the short film “Hemingway”, directed by Ghaith Adwan, which was a Jordanian Film Fund grant recipient in 2019.

Amer is an Adobe Certified Associate in Video Communication Using Adobe Premiere Pro and I teach an online course in Premiere on Udemy and Nadrus.com.                ​
